The bearded dragon !!!!!!!!

Although a bearded dragon can get VARY big (2 feet max) they are the beast beginer lizard . Unlike a gecko , these amazing creatures are omnivores wich means they eat both plants and insects ! These creatures also alow better handeling to . I LOVE THEM

Some helpful tips !!!!

Tips !!!!

- allways check the temp. of the cage
- never forget to mist your gecko
- always remember to keep the light on
- allways get the right sised crickets depending on sise of the gecko
- and finally make sure there is a covering or a hide out like plastick tupperware with a hole in it

What to feed a gecko and where to get it !!!

When getting anything for a gecko i always go to petco or petsmart to get it . Once u go to the gecko section u ask for either meal worms or crickets . These come in either small medium or large for both , and are very cheap . If u purchase meal worms you buy atleast 25 a week depending on the geckos age and for crickets you need about 15 a week . It seems like alot but when as ur gecko gets older it gets more expensive . i suggest getting crickets if u like watchin things get hunted and eatin and plus there cheaper and they arent as nasty looking =) . I aspecially recomend crickets for kids over 8 cause they will get exited to see the crickets get caught and eatin . CLEAN THE CAGE EVERY WEEK AND A HALF OR YOU WILLLLLL REGRET IT BELIEVE ME !!!!!!I now have a 1 year old bearded dragon and he is my favorite pet in the reptile group that ive ever had ! Beive me u should consider getting one of these amazing creatures.

What to buy when shopping for a gecko !!!!!!!

When shopping for geckos or gecko supplies you can go to Petsmart or Petco for the best prices . While your in the store u need a water dish , a spray bottle used to mist the gecko once a day, a glass aquarium , a cage thermometer , cage carpet or sand of any color (note: you do not have to get the colors that match your geckos normal habitat and u can also mix colors), a sticker background (note: this needs to match your geckos normal surroundings), u need a light bulb and a cage lamp , and finally u need some sort of objects wether it be a hallow tree, a hallow log , fake suction cup leaves ,or a rock to bask on .
